Royal Green Terror?

What exactly is a Royal Green Terror? In the past week I have heard them being mentioned often and I have no clue as to what they are.
 
They are terrors that are bred for color not personality they tend not to be as aggresive
 
Isn't it just another bull**** name for any white or gold saum rivulatus that has a thicker band on the tail fin? If my dempsey gets some really thick spangling on the body I might call it a Royal dempsey:cheers:
 
k well i was thinking about trading in my female gold saum because she just doesnt show any color and i want a lot of it. thefishdepot.com has what they call royal green terrors, so would that be a good choice if i want color?

yes pretty much. I believe they are gold saums that are bred for intense coloration and given the name "royal" to make them sound special so they can charge $$$ for them. :)
 
usually the royals have alot more streamer length to..and the colors are alot more colurful then gt..like the one above...
 
ehh usually the spangle pattern on a saum isnt as bright and revealed..but the royal usually has more of the pattern as shown..u just have to watch out when you buy one..and make sure you dont get ripped off..
 
wow that's one nice terror what's the difference between those and a gold saum? do they grow to the same size and what about aggression?
