Royal Green Terrors. Any experience?

:) I was at a LFS today and they had 2 types of GT's. One was the regular and one was the Royal Green Terror. This is the second time I have seen these. The green is a bit more intense, the orange on the fin is much more vibrant and the fins are a little longer. The guy at the store says that when they get bigger they look alot nicer than a regular GT and get a larger hump on the head. They were also double the price of the reg.GT. I am thinking about getting one and growing it out along side my reg GT I have now to see how different they will look.
Anyone info on these guys?
 
Never seen one, you should buy one or try an get pics.
 
Yeah I think I'm gonna pick one up on thurs. They were new so they were in quarantine. Making some room in the tank now.
 
I have never heard of Royal Green Terrors, Google for them just now and I can not find anything. Your LFS is full of ****, ask them for scientific name, if nothing proper can be provided I would stop doing business with them.

What is weird is that this is a different store than where I saw them the first time. I'll try to see if they have the name.

If you google "royal green terror" it seems that some other forums think that it is a selectively bred terror like a blue dempsey is to a jack dempsey. Interesting to say the least.
 
OK here are pics of mine.

I don't think that the white ( normal) and orange (royal) look any diff to me other than the color of the fins, as far as the hump I think that my reg is going to have a larger hump then my royal.

BTW these are 3 diff fish.

I do not know if I am blind but I just looked at first three pages of the Google search on "royal green terror" and can not find a thing. Can you link me please?
 
I like the one with the orange tail alot better!!!
