You could be a little more detailed with your question.
Many have found knifefish to be bothersome of SA arowana during the night. Mixing knifes with jardini will generally be bad for the knife. Considering the size both can grow a multi-hundred gallon tank is needed.

...okay im asking about them being good tankmates...and i no how big it gets as of now he is about 10 inch and the aros are around 15 inch. they are in a 125g right now. thnx. and i have pleanty room for them when they need upgrade. any one els ????
I've had the combo before. Seemed fine...never had issues with one another. The combo seems to be a trial and error thing.

Looks to me that your defensive because you already know that the tank you have your arowana in is quickly becoming too small, not cause someone told you to upgrade.
BTW I was being sarcastic your tank is not huge and is becoming much smaller by the day. Adding another fish (especially nocturnal) into your current tank could lead to disaster for your arowana.
i would think they would be fine... i have a 18inch aro and a 13 to 14 inch clown knife with no problem.. they have been tank mates since the aro was about 8 inch and the clown knife 5 to 6... what does the knife eat? if it is on feeder fish it might be more aggressive.. mine is on pellets and krill so he is fairly tame..
