Royal Pleco ID and ?'s

My favorite LFS just got a ~2" Green Royal Pleco, he shot me a price of $22 for it which I figure is a good deal since the othe LFS in town had one the same size for $35. Anyway, I told him to hold it for me so I could do a little research.

1. Any idea on a positive ID? (Sorry for the cell phone pics)

2. Any special needs? I hear they go thru drift wood pretty quick?

3. Would it be OK in a tank with a ~2" gold spot pleco, or would they fight?

4. Approx adult size?

1: its a L191 for sure.

2: driftwood is a must, as well as a diet invloving tons of veggies. Mine love mansanite. If you are in need there is a vendor name manziman I believe, he has amazing pieces. Keep them away from a meaty diet. A diet high in protien will speed up growth, but also drasticly shorten their lifespan.

3: what size tank? Which species to you mean by gold spot? They should be fine. I have mine in with a L190, L052, and a 13" L001 and they get along just fine.

4: reports vary, PC has them listed at 19" SL, which would be over 2' TL. I got mine over 3 years ago at 2" and with an awesome diet and growing him out in a 220, he is still just a hair over 6" Painfully slow growers IME
