My royal whips spawned in my sump for the first time a month ago. The eggs hatched but the fry alll disappeared with in a few days. I assumed as they were in the chamber with the powerful return pump that they had been sucked up in to the main tank

I bpought a hang on chamber that constantly drips and overflows new water in. I put 25 of the latest spawn in there and left about the same number in the sump chamber again. I still have 24 8 days later so fingers crossed I can get them to a size to put them back in the main tank. Theyre feeding and relatively busy in thereIMG_6099.JPG

Cheers guys

Its funny as I wanted to breed these about 15 years ago and had a few in a tank and nothing ever happened yet these 5 are in a sump chamber and I hardly see them but now are laying hopefully on a regular basis. One that I assume is the female is about 4 years old and been through the mill when my last tank split and when the subsequent emergency container over heated killing all my fish bar one or two including the whiptail
