How long can you keep the fry in with the parents? I have a bunch that are around an inch. Can they stay in there for awhile?

Maybe until the parents want to spawn again, or aggression is shown from the parents. That's my guess.

You can if they are an inch long. Congratulations for sucessful fry. Sometimes fry does not make it, and look what happen you got it.

when they get close to an inch is when I would suggest doing so, then the parents could get started on the next batch shortly
