So I have a 14" RTC and he is very aggresive. I've tried to have numerous tank mates, but he has either injured them, or chases till the other fish almost has to jump out of the water to get away.
BTW this isn't only at feeding time, this is all the time, but at feeding time it does get much worse!

I've had a oscar and a pleco, and when he was smaller he was with a bunch of guaramis.

I'm afraid to get any other fish to put with him for the fact that i don't want to get any of them hurt.

Does anybody else have these problems with there fish or am i the only one with a posessed RTC?

my biggest rtc (tigger) was like that when he was young now he's pretty laid back well them again being 38'' and fat dont help either.but rtc can be differnt i have one thats the same size as yours and he tired to kill everything. put him in with the big cats and had no problems he's been fine with smaller fish ever since. how it helps.

Thanks! He was smaller than everyone else but he still had something in his head that made him think he could take on anything. So it's frustrating but i think i just have to come to the conclusion that he's going to be alone for the rest of his life. I hope not tho!

as weird as it sounds he could just be having a bad few days and he may just snap out of it one day and become a big baby i dont think he will carry on acting that way for more than 2 months.

do you feed live/have you ever fed live-this could have triggered it...
I would say throw him in a tank with larger fish then him (if you have any) that you don't think he would mess up...this way he will know his place... this should work- lol should :)
what tank mates is he with now?

IMO no matter the size of these guys there always the boss of the tank. Unless there is a bigger cat in with them. Mines about ur size but is just a big baby. Doesnt do much. The Pacu even snuggle up to him. lol. But if someone takes his food or what not he puts them in place. Doesnt touch them just chases them. I picked up another baby hybrid (4") today that had bad temper problems at the store an put him in the tank with the big guys. Got scared of some of pacus and flowerhorn and hid under the RTC. Hahaha. I keep thinking he got ate but hes a good hider and gets into the small spots.

Do you have any bigger fish or know someone close that does? If so put him in with them. That should get him out of that temper stage.

What size is the tank you have him in?

It doesn't matter what tank mates you put in with a RTC ...eventually you will just have a RTC.

Right now he's all alone because i don't want him hurting the other fish more than he already has.

He's had other fish come and snuggle right next to him then he swims out from underneath his driftwood and chases and trys to bite the other fish.
I could probobly get a larger TSN from my LFS to put him in his place but i would have to see if he would do that. He's in a 125 at the moment but i'm buying a 240 this week.

*270 gallon tank not 240. I plan on doing some modifications to it by putting it on it's side so it's 3 ft wide instead of 2. Then it would be 2 ft tall.
