hello everyone, first post from me. I work with a fellow who has a yard pond full of breeding goldfish, he is over run with minnows. He has been catching the ones he can and ive been feeding them to my 14in tsn and rtc. My question is since it would be easier on both of us to just put these two in his yard pond( they are about to outgrow my 75 gal tank). I believe the pond is 1500 gal and is deep enough that it never freezes all the way. Could these cats survive a winter or would it kill em for sure.Is a well maintained pond in southern IN. Any good advice is appreciated. Also considering just letting him borrow for the summer, any health issues that might be incurred from this.

If the outside temp gets below 60 at any time then no... Just put like a tarp over it and add a heater and they'll live during the winter.

Too cold tarp or no tarp.

Had the feeling it would be way to cold. They would have been livin high on the hog in that thing though. thanks everyone.
