has anyone kept a redtailcatfish and a pignose turtle i have been offered a turtle for £50 is that good?

50 pounds for a PNT is cheap these days but make sure it's a PNT and not the Asian Soft Shell Turtle which some ppl wrongly identify as a PNT.

I don't think it's a good idea because the RTC can be pretty aggressive and my 7 incher tried eating up my PNT's tail. Someone else I know had the same thing happen to his PNT when comm with a RTC.

at that price I do not believe it is a Carotechelis Insculpta, aka Fly River Turtle.

If it is, I see no problem with the RTC, except that water parametres required by each are apples and oranges
