Anyone got a RTC and a stringray in the same tank? Is this a good idea or not? In my head I have this image of my RTC folding the stingray up like a burrito and slurping it down... Let me know what you guys think...

got this from the stickey about keeping RTC

Tankmates: Your best bet is to keep these guys alone, but if you must have a tankmate, make sure it can't fit in the RTC's mouth.

How does your rtc interact with other fish he lives with? Really I think it could work if he doesnt go after other fish and if you kept him well fed. My rtc who's close to 2' and 6months old hasn't eaten another fish sense I bought him and there's been smaller one in the pond. He leaves them alone....basically just ignores them really.....though if you try it no promises just my experiance

Yeah he seems to act well with the others... I have a small cory cat thats seriously like less than 2 inches big and i have had the redtail for a few months now and hes up to about 9 to 10 inches and has never once touched it... so that may be a good sign... but i bet you the minute he has a hunger burst, that sucker is gone....

Wow has no one here tried this...

I have a book on stingrays and in the majority of the pics there with redtails.

I kept my big boy with my Motoro for almost 2 years then my little girl was born.

Make sure its a ray that grows large and grows fast my motoro was already large.
