rtc behavior

How does your rtc behave when it's hungry?does it beg food when your in front of the tank just as cichlids do?
Mine seems to do so,not sure though.restless when someone is in front of the tank.
And also,i switched brand of pellets last week.he doesn't seem to like it.lol!now it's back to shrimps and fish as his staple food.do you think he'll not take pellets again?i switched brand coz his favorite pellets is expensive.lol!

mine has recently got used to things after his switching of tanks.. i usually feed large goldfish that i keep in another tank and fatten them up.. i hand feed him so as soon as i wiggle my hand around the tank he starts to swim around trying to find my hand whether or not theres food in it then darts away and trys again

Uhm,yes they do after smelling the food.but mine does this with me not dipping my hand in the water.

my rtc go to the front like cichlids do and follow me around and swim towards the top that is just the big one shamoo, my little ones tailwag and gill just sit there and do nothing

Mine goes nuts when I'm in front of the tank and I haven't fed him yet, he even pokes his whiskers out of the water looking for food.
