RTC Colour enhancing foods?

Is there a food for my RTC that will make his take more red? its a pale orange. On a 14 y/o budget.

Krill/Shrimp. Also it comes with size, most little RTC have brown tails and they get redder as they grow

My rtc is around 7" and hasn't gained any color in its tail. I feed freeze dried krill, market shrimp and tilapia. Occasionally trout worms and nightcrawlers. I know astaxanthin enhances red thou if you can find some food with that should help

+1, mine is over 5 inches and his tail is all white, I bought a red tail catfish not a white tail catfish.

He is only 8-9 inches and a month or so old currently... In the pics he looks way way smaller than in person
