RTC DISCOLORATION?

my rtc's bottomside is pink and not black or white. he is about 5 in. in length. Is this normal?

Do you have a Picture? Pink sounds like Ammonia poisoning but it could be nothing... Post up a pic and we'll be able to tell you better

how do i cure that?

get a better filter, and do reg. water changes. right now pump alot of water through alot of activated carbon to try to get your ammonia level down. was your tank cycled before you put the cat in?
