I left for 2 hours and when I came home I noticed my rtc's mouth is all bloody. At first I though that he attacked the other fish but they are all in perfect condition. Is this some sort of disease or parasite? What should I do?

A pic would help. Are the other fish ok? Has he been eating (as well as he shoud have) and no other probems noted? Is the water ok?

The other fish are fine and he has been eating like a champ. I don't have a test kit but I'll try and get it tested today from the lfs.

I removed the air stone and the rocks in case he was trying to eat them.

It is hard to see the redness you refer to. If he and his tankmates eat well and behave normal, perhaps it is too early to think there is a problem. External redness usually means a bacterial infection... from something light and external, such as Greenbud successfully removed with a vey mild natural anticeptic pimafix, to lethal and internal, such as hemorragic septicemia.

I had the water tested today and everything was fine. I was going to get some pimafix but they were out of stock. I have bumped up the temp and added some salt, anything else I can do?
