RTC hasn't eaten in 4 days now

Mine hasn't eaten in 4 days since it was transfered to an aquarium. What I mean is that I haven't given her any shrimps since she was transefered to a tank.

I was thinking her instinct to hunt would kick in if she gets hungry and go after one of the GF.

But will an RTC ever loose its natural instinct to hunt because we feed it and get used to it or is it something else?

RTC's just plain eat anything. Once settled into the tank they will consume any fish they can and even some they cant.


Just wait........you'll see.

So does this mean that it's not hungry after not eating for 4 days? I'm just worried...:confused:
 
4 days is not a long time for any fish to not eat I wouldn't worry about because when he's 2' + you will wish he wouldn't for a week.:D
 
Definetly no time to worry... after a tank change it can take awhile before they settle in and get comfortable enough to eat. Yours is fat enough to live for months and months without eatting LOL... Perhaps she got a reflective veiw of herself and thought she needed to lose a pound or two LOL :ROFL:
