Im egar to get a rtc and im saving for a custom made tank but was wondering how long a 120 gal would last one from about 3-4 inch the measurments are 5 ft long and 2 ft wide. I was thinking about year to year and half what you guys think, id like to say I know quite abit about the rtc so dont need to be reminded on there size tank mates etc. It would be a SA rtc just want to know how long you guys think. From what ive reasearched its about a inch to even 2 inch a month please correct if wrong.

In the 8 months I've had my hybrid RTCxTSN, he has gone fro m under 2" to easily 22". Time is ticking, I hope you have a very big tank in the very near future
ya time is something you dont have alot of. rtc's grow very fast water and feeding's are important for fast growth, my rts is only about a big 4"s when i got him a week ago and has grown about a inch since but i have really good feedings. Both mt rtc and rtXtsn and he is about 10" or so they will only be in a 125 for about 6 months then to a 500g and down the road will be in my made pond withen 2-3 years and then they will be to big for 500g so be prepared they dont call them monsters for no reason they will be really big. look up some pics of full grown and some get bigger then there parents just through breeding.
