I had a baby rtc and it was 2" and he wax always swimming around and even would eat out of my hand at such a small size. Sadly my cone on my filter fell off and he swam up my filter and met my impeller 
2 months later I got another little rtc that's about 3". But this one always hides never comes out to eat. Just eats my other fish and is very skiddish. What can I do to calm him down? He is fairly new to the tank thou.
