rtc or rtcxtsn

I have heard both ways. I think the reality is that you'd have to look at weight vs length. I believe (and note that I don't have hard numbers in front of me) that the RTCxTSN puts on length faster, but the RTC turns into a thick beast much faster. I have RTCxTSN that has gone from 3" to 22" in a year, but he just doesn't quite have the enormous bulk of the RTC. Also, I don't think anyone really knows who has the potential to ultimately get bigger since I don't think there is information on a hybrid that lived in a huge home for as long as the record breaker RTC's. Just my $0.02.

i have both my rtcxtsn grows much faster then my rtc but it doesn't mess with the rtc. they often lay together on the bottem. rtcxtsn-12", rct-5", tsn-3.5"(in diff. tank) the hybrid is suppost to get like 4'-6' and 120lbs. the rtc is like 3.5'-5' and 100lbs. tsn like 3.5'-5' and 60lbs.

Lol, whered you get 3.5-5' for RTC. I have seen pics of a specimen that was 72" long without its head in a market somewhere in the amazonas. I have yet to see any pics of a hybrid longer than 4 feet so far but I do believe that they will get atleast the size of an rtc.

My rtc x tsn is catching up to my rtc in length but as said above the pure rtc has the edge in bulk. They too lay side by side ,accept when food is in the water..

both grow fast. You want something bigger, get a wels, filamentosum, or paroon shark
