I am building a tropical pond for large catfish and was wondering which dimensions are better for redtail catfish or if I need to build bigger. The two different sizes are 12 x 6 x 3 or 8 x 8 x 3. If these sizes are to small then what demensions do I need to go with?

12x8x3 is an ok size for many years until your RTC will start growing past 3'-3.5' mark. RTC is arguably the most written-about catfish here and is well described in the stickies - the threads at the top of each forum. Please, take a look and come back with questions, if you will.
