i have just got my 405 gal tank (8*3*3) and i want to fill it up with big cats
what ever filter system i choose it will be more than enough(have not decided yet)
any way my question is can i put 2red tails in the same tank and how many big cats can i keep in it with out being cruel
the health of my cats must come first

i dont think 2 would be good. they get to such a big size, theyre best in a pond really, although im sure it will house one for a while. there are plenty of other cats that dont grow quite as big tho

I'm about to get a smaller version of your tank (mine is 8x2x3), so I'm surious to hear what you decide to put in yours. Also, how do you plan to decorate it? what substrate? Thanks.

IF you want to fill it with big cats then I wouldnt put in a red tail. They will really limit your options as far as any other fish including cats.

I'd say go with more medium sized cats instead. There's so many to choose from and they are still monsters at around 2ft-2 1/2ft. Marble sail fins would be awesome in it.
