RTC Shedding, Good Bad or Normal

my RTC started shedding, is it good/bad/normal?

i cant find much info on this

Lima catfish seem to shedd their slime coat regulary but ive never seen a RTC shedd.

It could be an indication of poor water quality, do a waterchange say 30%. How big is the tank and RTC and what filteration are you running?

its normal for a RTC to shed its slime coat

mine sheds all the time.. now that she's alone in her tank she sheds less probably because she isn't chasing the TSN around anymore..

+3.....mine shed after i do a water change....So it's normal.

Errr ... mines do not shed slime coat (at least i have never seen them do it)
