As you all know my RTC (bubba) has roughed it in a pool/stock tank for a couple weeks so far due to a series of crappy and unexpected events and my 180 gallon busting. Previously i mentioned how I planned to order a bigger tank a couple weeks ago. well I had to hold off even longer because the people that build the tanks for the lfs needed to order more materials for the project so the time I said I would order it lasted even longer .....not that any of you care about this whole post/topic but...... I was finally able to confirm my fish tank order with them and the tank will be started on ASAP The tank will have the final dimensions of
7 foot long
4 foot wide and
2 foot tall
It will house my RTC for now.still just thought id mention it here. I am so excited and can't wait to get the tank and stand in a few weeks the gallon size comes out to 400 something can't recall exactly at the moment just thought id let you all know I am excited! I will make a new post once I get it delivered to my house in a few weeks depending on how much time it takes the people to build

Because I don't know haha just I guess ... Mabye to keep cost low I am 17 years old and I have to be able to purchase it all myself and an extra foot may tack on way more money than I can afford and also add 100 more gallons or so I really didn't think about that I don't know what all it takes to build a tank ...

The extra foot will probably cost you nothing more. They have to use an 8 foot piece whether they build a 7 or 8 footer. The extra foot is just waste and you'll be charged for the full 8 foot either way.

I will contact them and hopefully they have only ordered the sheets so far they said it would take a while anyway so hopefully they haven't started in that case i will tell them to go for the 8 foot

yep. This is what one'd think given the info provided. Of course exceptions are possible. Maybe they located three (? sides and bottom at least) 7' scraps for much less. Highly unlikely but not impossible. Let's see what they explain.
