rtc tank mates?

i am picking up a rtc on friday from my work he is a baby about 5 inches, i know how big they can get and will be building larger tanks as i go, i just want to know what i can keep him with?
i was thinking a couple(3 peacock bass) an alligator gar and 2 oscars and eventually an aro

any ideas guys

and just as important... how big are the possible tank mates?

There is an old saying around here that goes " RTC's don't have tank mates... just meals they are saving for later" Once they get their "Hunger" you won't be able to stop them from eatting their tankmates (should they fit in their mouth, and if they don't then the RTC will wait till it does and THEN eat it)
 
^ i agree, mine is like four inches and he is alone in a 55 gallon. I have to 55's one for my bichirs, and one for him, Because these guys will try to eat anything.
 
Silver arowanas usually work well with RTCs, but only if they're large. Arapaimas would definitely work. Maybe a Piraiba? Pacu are a good option too.
