Hello all, :)
Im doing an investigative study at college and it happens to fit in with the fact that i want an indoor pond. I look all over the internet for a tank size and everyone says different things, i know you guys are the best to ask about this. Call me a noob :) but i love these catfish, remember seeing them when i was little and i will always remember it swimming around all over the place investigating everything. Anyway ill stop rambling on, basicly i want to know the tank size and any good examples of ponds in the UK if possible, and if so how much is costing on your electricty bill to keep them????
btw i should have mentioned that i want to convert a shed, with the insulation and damp proofing included.

Thanks very much people, Dave

A RTC need a pond. so a 300galllon.

if u keep it for life then it need a bigger tank then a 300gl but if not then just the 300gal and i saw two at 40". :grinno:

That will depend on how much you feed and how often you do water changes, as well as how well-filtered the pond is. I'd think 1000 US gallons would be a fine start for a catfish that easily exceeds four feet in length.

more like 3,000 gallons man..

referring to the 300 gallons man..not knifegills comment LOL..don't wanna get in your way..You taught me everything I know haha

Agree, 3000 gallons would be great for an adult.
