Could but when it's 30"+ and you have nothing to do with it at least you won't have to fillet it..

If you're not getting a huge tank anytime soon then take the money and run. 15" is too big for a 55g as it is and it will only get bigger.

Why dont you sell it on the forum for $30. Is the lfs gonna give you cash or store credit? I think you could find a better home for it on the forum.
