Rtc+tsn ate suction cup

My 10 in. Rtc+tsn ate a suction cup. I tried to remove it but could not get it out. I've heard that some fish that swallow hooks during fishing survive because the hook desolve. Is it possible the suction cup will desolve ? Or is he a goner?

fish do survive hooks since they dissolve but that process takes weeks. The suction cup was made to NOT dissolve, you wouldnt want to replace your equipment all the time because it dissolved away lol. on the other hand, there is hope! im not familiar with the hybrid but my rtc is quite curious and eats more random things in the tank than he consumes actual food! sometimes he swallows large rocks and throws up hours later. if you know its still in his stomach, dont feed him. This will only cause a blockage that will keep the cup inside him. hopefully he decides to get rid of his full gut. good luck and keep us posted

it may or may not thay can dissolve a turtle shell you never know i hope it passes or he regurges it. and for bigfishsmallpond some of us care more about the animal then the money
 
Well he finally spit the suction cup out. I thought he was gonna die for sure. Thanks for all of the support.
