hey guys im just wondering what i should try to feed my rtc/tsn hybrid, because atm i have tried shrimp pellets, frozen krill, frozen plankton, frozen blood worms and i put like 2 tuffies in the tank to see if he would go for them, but atm he has yet to eat anything. I picked him up on sunday so idk if this is normal because new to the tank or if i should try to feed him somethin else.

sorry to bump this but looking for more help on it, my tsn/rtc hybrid ate on april 1st about half a shrimp pellet, but since then hasn't ate anythin since, he hasn't even looked at anythin. jw, wat i should try feeding him that i haven't already? so far i tried shrimp pellets, frozen bloodworms, frozen plankton,, small tuffies and guppies.

i think my water parameters are good, ph is 6.8, nitrates are at 7ppm, my tap water is 5ppm normal. ammonia is 0, i'll try some shrimp or sardines when i get home, also should i try to get some frozen silver sides?

i would do about 15% water change every 2 days to keep water top notch. try cut pieces of smelt, my new one ate it the first day i got him. keep us posted

your trying all the wrong foods dude . Go to the fish store say i want a small thing of LIVE BLACKWORMS . Turn the lights off for about 20 mins and put the blackworms in the tank.
To keep the black worms alive u need to rinse them and drain the watter dailey u just want them wet and keep them in the fridge. try it i bet he eats.

this is my old one when it was still under ten inchs
