Well after going to a local ranch 99 market and reading lot of labels for nutrition values, I found that the frozen spiny eels had more protein and better overall nutrition than the silversides. They were only $2.99 for approx. 30-35. Has anyone ever looked in asian stores for frozen feeders? Are the fish, eels, and mollusks different than what we buy at lfs?

My rtc and tsn x rtc can't get enough of the eels but my paroon picks them up and spits them everytime. I. Feed a steady diet of massivore shrimp and eels now. I've heard of feeding beef heart but how is it prepared? What is other diets of mfk'ers keeping similar stock

i feed stuff not made 4 fish all the time including beefheart but not 2 the cats u got i got asian BB cat and bullheads n a pond i cut the beefheart n2 strips then refreeze it how big r the spiny eels u feed? can i c sum pics of them id lik 2 try those out

raw shrimp and catfish filets are what my cat eats. I'll try it on other foods later on like chicken hearts, livers, etc.

This is an excellent idea. We're feeding squid (very cheap) and fish filet, which are already pretty cheap, along with Massivore and Aqua-Stable. We also buy shrimp from the guys on the side of the road because they are whole, with the heads (the shrimp, I mean, but the guys are, too). These look good, though, and we have a lot of Asian markets in our area. Thanks for the idea.

i feed mine chicken and shrimp and some smelts
