Okay here's one pic to see how much my RTC grew in less than 2 months
I'm glad to see the red color coming out in his tail, feeding him Market shrimps, fish fillets and sometimes Carnivore sinking pellets, here's the restult :) He is almost 10" now.

Yea, just feed it daily often and not too much food each time is better than not so often and much food each time. My advice is to give it a variety of shrimps, bloodworms and some fish fillets, throw some frozen shrimps in the tank just before lights out and they sure will be gone in the morning since they hunt during the night. If the RTC can't swallow a whole shrimp yet I think you should feed it bloodworms till it can

Good luck and happy feeding

Well, my friend has made me abit confused, he told me that gill curl was then the gills grew together so that the fish hardly could breathe, and I thought it was when the gills well "curled", which is it?

Thanks for the info Sir-

My guy is only 2 inch or so-so it's not eating much at the moment-Plus it was introduced into a new tank-But I fed him some piece of cut up shrimp the other day finally. So I at least know he's up to it-I was told to feed every other day at this size-Have I been misinformed once again?

Well, I always keep their stomach full all the time, even if they are 2" small :) My TSN for example is 1,5" now and he is happily eating bloodworms several times each day, but ofc with heavy feeding there's a chance that the cat pukes and messes up the water badly and suffers a chance of being poisoned.

My advice is still to feed it a few times each day if he eats, if he doesn't wanna eat then you just might want to feed it less but when they get around 5" they will it till you think that his stomach will burst :grinno:
