Remember this little guy? I picked him up 3 months ago at approximately 3" in length.

Here he is now at a solid 9". Everyone said they grew fast, but this guy's growth has been insane. He's averaged 2" per month.

Here he is with the other new cat in the house. This kitten is infatuated with this tank. It's hilarious watching jump into the glass trying to catch the fish.

And here you can see him with the rest of his tankmates:

Due to his rapid growth, I am now looking for another 180 or 240 to hold him in so he doesn't eat my silver aro, tsn, or royal clown knife.

Yah mine grew like that too. Mine is about same size as yours. the 240 will hold him for a lil while but not long. They get 3 foot+. I am gana build a plywoodtank for mine. U might wana start planing on a HUGE pond or something. Looks great BTW. What do u feed him???

Yeah, I remember you getting yours about the same time as mine. We were well aware of how big he would get, and I knew he would grow quickly, I just didn't expect it to be this quick.

He's currently eating krill and market shrimp and I am trying to keep him on a bit of a diet so as to hopefully maintain a slightly slower growth rate. Unfortunately, it is not working too well so I'll probably be dividing the tank soon with the RTC and my peacocks on one side and the aro, royal knife and TSN on the other.

I'm looking to pick up somehting in the 480 - 650 gallon range sometime next year so that the RTC and peacocks will have more room. That should hopefully hold them for a couple of years until I can build something even more substantial.

I would like to build an aquarium adjacent to the house, or more preferably in the garage, with windows into the living room, but I have to buy the house first. I'd like to make it somewhere in the range of 10' - 16' X 6' X 4'. That should give them enough room to live out their lives in relative comfort.
