Ok I know what you guys are thinking, but could a 2 inch rtc grow to the point where it takes up a 30 gallon tank to the point where it cant swim. I never had one but i just want to know the possibilities of me having one

NO RTC should ever be kept in a 30 gallon tank. It would require a minimum of a 1,000 gallons and that probably isnt even enough. That catfish will grow larger than the entire tank. dont do it. ever. thanks for asking about it though. much more responsible than dealing with a huge fish in a small tank down the road.

I would say yes but it would take a long time..its growth will probably be stunted and grow slower but I think eventually it would..theres a 2.5 ft rtc at a lfs here in about a 120 gallon and it can barely move around..plus it would eat all the other fish in your tank if it had a chance when its big enough
