Well I thought about selling my fish about a week ago. I just cant do it. Too attached lol. Anyways.. first my little hybrid died a couple weeks ago due to the big guy knocking all the air off. Now, my larger hybrid has started get what I thought were nips from the gar. Which i thought was weird because the big rtc and little hybrid lived with him probably their whole lives. So I thought about just taking the gar out and everything would be fine.. until I looked closer and noticed its actually fin rot. GRRRR. Let me tell you... those notches from fin rot looks like a gar has taken chunks outta them lol. Whats the best way to get it healing? Ive been doing dissolved salt. I added less than half a does of melafix because I didnt want to hurt them. Anything else I can do? Temp is at 80 and water is fine.. I dont know how he got it. He is eating fine and everything else too.
