I just noticed my hybrid only has one pelvic fin, is this a common mutation? since i noticed, i've been staring at him for an hour, no scar tissue, no stump it's like it was never there.

IME, about 20% of all artificially produced fish in the ornamental trade have some type of deformity. Missing fin(s) is a common one of them.
