1st Question

I bought some carnivorous pellets. (Hikari)
I have a snakehead which immediately took the pellets even after feeding him goldfish the day before and the catfish, being a bottom dweller, wont really know the pellet even exists on top.
What should I feed it?
Should i soak the pellets?
Are there anyone in malaysia, kl who knows betteur carnivorous sinking pellets that are cheaper? (i didnt see the carnivorous sinking version of this pellets in the shop.. just the larger version)
Or is there another way to use non-carnivorous pellets but still be able to feed the cat?

2nd Question

I just bought this hybrid not knowing it is but i have been searching up about this fish on this forum and have read that people are saying that if there is poor light in the aquarium they tend to lose that dark brown colour on their backs and show more of the TSN stripes.
Is this true?
If its true, is it okay if i actually use dimmer lights or dont use lights at all to bring this colour out?
Would it have any side effects on the fish?

Sorry, but i just have too many questions to ask about this.. i'm very new to cats...
And yes.. i know that this hybrids grow very large and even much faster but..
what is the size it will roughly grow to ? Its currently 2 inches. :naughty:

well about the feeding part i bought tetra sinking carnivorous pellets for my guy, however his main diet consists more of cut up fish fillet and prawns which i throw ner his cave.

mine comes right to the surface to feed out of my hand. they are like vaccuumes.

i've tried to soak the pellets which worked when i had turtles before this.. but i guess its quite immune on hikari pellets? i''ve let some pellets to soak in a container and i took a shower.. came back and they still float.. lol
