For treatment of ick with this catfish so far i have just raised the temp and put a 1/2 dose of aquarium salt in. How often should i put the salt in? Also has anyone tried "Ick Out Sensitive" by Wardley for catfish and other sensitive fish? Can i use both "Ick Out Sensitive" and salt? Any other suggestion are welcome.

Raise the temperature to 82 or so and just change the water every two days adding salt with every water change, also how large is the tank and fish? And is he in a hospital tank alone?

Well i have been looking for an rtc x tsn hybrid for a while. And i am visiting my parents house for the holidays for 2 weeks. I found one at a LFS so he is in a 10 gallon until i get back home. i just got him 4 days ago he is only 2-3 inches.

What about the "Ick Out Sensitive" and salt?

Forget the meds and focus on salt as you've already dose salt in your tank. Get a cup of tank water, place a dose of salt in it and keep stirring until dissolved thoroughly. Add slowly to the tank. Just do water changes every 3 days and then replace the amount of salt per the amount of water you changed.

Thanks for the advise how long should i continue adding salt and doing water changes? 1 week? 2 weeks?

water changes every week. keep temp high and stress low. feed 1/2 amount of food.
