Like one every second. The tank size is 130 gal he has been in there for about 2 months and his tank mate is gator gar

do a water change it should help with his breathing one of your peramiters might be off. i had it happen to me right after i moved my tak something got messed up in the move had to do 2 50% wc that day and thay all seamed to calm right down
Yeah ^ do a wc he should be fine. How big is he? Doesn't sound to bad.
