1 or 2 weeks LOL

why post a useless answer :banhim:

it depends on a few things, temp, how much there being feed, water quaility, if they were babies id say 6 months to a year, but i dunno how big they are now?

Six months to a year for a RTC? Really? Why post a useless answer :banhim:

OP...expect your RTC to grow 20'' to 24'' in the first year. Your tiger cat 16'' to 20'' in a year.

ya really, a fishs growth rates greatly depends on, temp, amount of feeding and how often, water quality, and stock of the tank, just cause the average growth rate is high doesnt necessarily mean that every rtc is gonna grow at that rate....you hear that??? its common sense calling you... looks like you should answer for once

anyway how big are they now penn?? and is the tank a standard 125, 6 ft 18 inches wide?

I fed my rtc once a week ever since they were 2'', 10 months later 20''. 18'' in ten months feeding once a week. If you care to look in the catfish forum, most of it is common that a RTC will hit 18'' to 24'' in the first year.

Have you ever kept a RTC or a TSN?

Lessen to mahemaheman85, Feed less, keep in poor quality water, over stock the tank. And for sure the cats can stay in the 125gal for a year.:grinno:

wow ill never understand how the narrow minded think.. for one thing i said 6mo to a year if they were babys, printed in plain english lol. hence why i keep asking how big they are NOW

And I'm pretty sure the OP will keep the water clean, feed them right, Not over stock the tank, etc.

i know a local breeder and his rtc only grew 14 inches the first year in a 180, same as a 125 just higher, perfect water, feed twice a week, so like i said, not every fish is the same, and yes i have had an rtc and have a tsn now
