what is the best food to use for a baby hybrid .. if u have any suggestions let me know... thanx

sinking carnivore pellets (hikari), market shrimp, prawns, tilapia fillets...it will probably eat any if not all of those.

thanx

They'll eat anything and everything, unfortunately, they swallow some gravel at the same time. For this reason, you may want to use sand. (I use gravel on the tank he's in, but will soon be switching to sand) As stated above, tilapia fillet, market shrimp, sinking pellets, earthworms, etc will make great foods. Stay away from feeders, even if you do quarantine them, if it gets hooked, you'll have a very expensive food bill. :D

Mine excepts nearly any meaty food. Once he hits 10", I'm switching from carnivore pellets to massivore. :naughty:

Anything that sinks...
also anything that floats too :D
all you have to do is feed the fish after dark or if you have a fish room darken the room and then add food to the tank

I don't know if it's a good or bad thing, but mine often beats my pleco to the veggies. (Spinach, zucchini) I tie them to a rock so they sink. I have to distract the cat with carnivore pellets so the plec gets some.

SInking Hikari pellets.....Asain Supermarket frozen/fesh shrimp, prawns....Chopped Tilapia pieces.....

Red-tailed Catfish are omnivorous they eat both meat and vegetables so try to feed them a varied diet
