hey , started to notice my RTG doesnt eat shrimp like he used too now hes just chewing on them spitting it out , then he chews again it looks like he cant swallow it? and just now i saw him standing still in a corner for a bit but he moved quiet fast when i went there so ... just did a water test for nitrates and its no nitrates what so ever im changing water anyway just too be safe . other fishes are eating fine its just him . maybe its just the shrimp that tastes bad ? gonna try with scales on this ones where scaled already in the box.

ive got bloodworms too but im trying to get the NGT out of eating those so i rather not feed them.

Should i be worried?

just try too feed it something instead of MP,he prob got bored of its food, remember varied diet

My RTG reacts to different boxes of shrimp. One box he'll eat non stop, and he gets very picky with another. Same company, different boxes.

Yeah thats weird becasue its the same company here aswell just another box... so guess it could be a "bad shrimp"box o_O

Anyway i gave up and gave them so pieces of bloodworms just to be sure ... and yeah he ate it .

Good to read that he's eating. I hope you have something else to feed that box of shrimp to. :) I always have my dats, bichirs and pbass who will gobble up shrimp. :)

You should have some nitrates and zero nitrites.. Check again.
Lets hope not all your BB died off. I'm sure it's just being picky.

You my friend, have a nice RTG.
I think it's best if you just send me your RTG and I'll take care of her for u :D
