SCAM! :screwy:

You see this stuff all the time on auction sites. Like they say "If it's too good to be true...it is."

A year ago I saw a '55 Chevy on EBay that belonged to a friend of mine. The car had been featured in Classic Chevy magazine and had almost $50K in it. The asking price was Buy it Now $5000. Needless to say after Billy contacted EBay they pulled the auction. :nilly:

Additionally, alot of times these phoney auctions are 'phishing' expeditions and the people who respond end up having their IDs compromised. :WHOA:

Be very careful unless you are able to actually speak with the person on the other end and request more info. Plus, purchasing that fish is still a violation of current U.S. Law. For both the seller and the buyer. :irked:

oh I figured that something was "fishy" about it. Just wanted to hear what you guys would have to say about it. and so true, if it sounds to good to be true, it is. Dummies like this guy either running a scam or selling an illegal fish make it hard on the rest of us "legit" fish people.

Yeppers!

It could vey well be a true RTG. They are in the US, and being offered for sale. The same situation for Australia, except people sell them on public forums way more openly.
