RTG not eating as much

My RTG was about 5 inches when i go tit
would eat massive amounts of shrimp sstuffed with hikari aro pelets, untill its stomach bloate and probably twice a day it would do that.

temp is 28 to 30c

last week, i went through a change of filter, tampered around the outlets and it seemed to have gotten a fright and jumped and scratched it self twice on the back and the head.

still eatin but would eat probably half the amount it usually ate.

its about 7 inches now maybe 7.5 close to 8 inches.

should i worry?

does changing the filter set up and water flow stress them?
 
try cutting down on the feeding to once a day and whatever it can eat within 2 minutes. do that daily and it should be fine.

... umm, i dont usually FIST my fish... you mean fed though right??:P

lol ok sorry bad taste, but could not resist!

i fed it this mornin, ate 2 pieces, and didnt wanna eat anymore. usually when i first got it it ate literally 2 to 3 times a day, each time it would bloat..... its grown literally 2 to 3 inches since then.

yeah, i might miss a feed tommorrow see how i go.
 
now it's big enough feed it once a day until it refuses.
mine is about 12 to 14 inch and it eachs a full MP cut up and about 5 or 6 crickets.
mix it's diet as well. Mine loves SW but because i read they're fatty i've cut them out.
I stick with 2 types of food for about 3 weeks then change one type, rotating each change.
 
Nothing to worry about. You are over-indulging your baby ^^

i reduce feeding after i tinker around with da filter - to be on the safe side

PS: my aros are quite picky one day and then gulping down the next. it is quite annoying to scoop up the food afterwards actually =S
