RTG tank stocking - need your experiences and suggestions:D

1x six bar distichodus
1x 4 to 5 inch dat
1x 6 to 7 inch albino senegalus
1x 5 inch delhezi (maybe 3) not sure yet
2x spotted mettynis
2x silver dollars
2x red hook mettynis
1x 8inch flagtail
1x 4 to 5 inch royal pleco
1x 3 inch scarlet pleco

1200 litres

filtration will be immense, no worries there. its a overflow sump trickle filter with about 10kgs of bio media:D

is that enough, too much, or room for more?
i have a optional CK and Ornate bichir tha ti could throw in.

i had a royal in a smaller tank witht he dat and RTG, on day i found the royal knife dead... no tears or rips on fins so cant be aro. water params ok and all other fish ok... i was suspecting it was the dat.

feedback would be great!
 
its all about your aro's character but RTG are not the most friendly arowana. i had an RTG too and it fought or tried to kill most fish smaller than him (loaches, catfish, bichir) and even bullied fish larger than him (plecos, datnoid). so to prevent actual casualties i had to select tankmates with care. If yours is like that it will not be a nice comm tank but maybe yours is friendly and things will work out. you will have to try it.

this was in the original tank

and below are the new additions due to the extremely large sized tank
2x spotted mettynis
2x silver dollars
2x red hook mettynis
1x 8inch flagtail
maybe tire track eel 15 cms
 
the rtg was in with plenty of other fish already
NEVER i seen it actually fully attack the other fish.
sometimes, when it chases shrimp, the loaches and 6bar tries to get the shrimp,,so it gets mad and kidna chases them away
but i have never seen it chase them consitently over and over like my jardinii and my EXgiant gourami did.
The rtg kinda swims semi fast , they swim away, it takes the food and goes back up on the surface of the tank swimming along all of them kinda know not to swim in its swim space lol
 
UTING do you think i can add a sweetheart parrot in there? clown knife? 15 cm tyre track eel? not all what do you think i should add?

CK would be fine but idk others just depends if your fish is aggressive or not

Depending on the size, it more than likely was the aro that killed the knife. Mine will try to kill any slender pred I tried with him. Mine also likes to chase geos and sometimes my pbass. He may also go after smaller bichirs depending again on his size. Mine manhandled an 8" ornate, but he was 18" at the time.

As to filtration, you will not have enough once those fish put on an inch or two.
