Thank you guys for the comments:) I Picked up some cichlas couple weeks ago and I just returned them lol I was comparing to the snooks and I like the snooks better... Easier to manage they dint get as large plus I think they have more personality and they were pushing the bass around which were bigger than snooks lol. I'm liking the snooks myself

I really like the green snooks.

I really like those snooks...I wish I had a tank I could put a pair in...no can do right now.

And yes it looks like a female rtm to me...the anal fin looks like it has mostly red on it...where as my small male has just spots.

thank you bro:) thats kinda what i was thinking i didnt see the prominent spotting, but also i dont see enough red like i see in your female. Its my first time with RTMs so im still learning what to look for. and now since i have a group to compare each other too it'll be easier for me to get it down:)

These are my first ones too...I wasnt sure until I saw them change into what they are now and being able to see what is different.

Gotta respect the Green Bay Snooks! Respect!

I underestimated the snooks when i got them. but now after growing them out, these guys are a great community fish. being able to hold their own or retreat really fast. i also noticed they had no problem punking the peacock bass i had growing out also. and so far i am liking the snooks:)
But my new lil favorite is gonna have to go with the Rio Blanco RTMs:naughty:
