Pictures of my RTM tank. Only thing I think I might change is get rid of the smaller river rocks and put in two larger ones on each side of the center piece of driftwood. Right now tank has a pair of RTMs and pair of Jack Dempseys. Still trying to figure out what to do with the Dempsey's. May sell them or get another tank. Tank is an 8 foot 180 with 2 FX5 for filtration. Pic isn't the best quality, wife hid the Nikon on me somewhere. Must have left it where I wasn't supposed to last time I took pictures. Let me know what you think.

Very nice setup! I would keep the dempseys in their and see how they get along as the RTM grow up. Since it is an 8foot tank you may be able to put another piece of driftwood in the middle where both pairs can have their own side. Best of luck with them

Male Dempsey is around 10" I think. Forgot to measure him when I moved him to this tank. Can try to see if I can get a measurement on him next water change.

Doing great. Eating anything and everything. They've dug a decent size spawning bed on the right side of the tank. Nothing to show for it yet.

I'm glad they're starting to bond for you. They weren't when I sent them. But I'm glad they are. I can see them.together in a couple of pics. I know that male is gonna be a stunner!! Cant wait to see him in a few months:) good luck with them spawning.

Awesome aquascaping!
