Hi All

I am the proud keeper of a breeding pair of red tiger motag's!!!

They have laid eggs a few times, but last night I spotted wrigglers!!!

The motags are in a 180g with other cichlid tankmates. There must be about 50 wrigglers, hopefully all will still be there when I get home.

I have a 50g and a 20g tank spare that I could use to grow the fry out or I could keep them in the 180 for a while.

What should I do with the fry? If I remove the fry will the RTMs become less aggressive to their other tankmates?

At what size can the fry be moved to another tank?

Many thanks

i would remove the fry as soon as they start to look like they are fre swimming,if you keep them in there the rtm's would probably kill the other tank mates, put the parents and the fry in the 50 gallon.I am not an expert on fry raising but i put my freddies in a spare tank when they started to spawn so i would not have to separate later, others will probably have better experience keeping fry in a community tank.I dont think that will work with rtm,s though(aggression will be to high)
