thanks :) for the comments. and about the pleco i was gobsmacked when i saw him that i had to take the picture, not photoshoped at all just luck lol

If he keeps like that all the time he might have the smallest chance of suvival when the rtcX gets bigger lol, how big i sthe rtcX btw ?

lol nah little guys in a 20 for the time being. well around 4-5 inches atm. I,v had him for a little over 2 weeks but gosh the growth in him is incredible. its noticable even to my mum who hates him lol.

LOL , ive had loads of girls say they hated my clarius i had, he was the main talk at a party we had at the house about how ugly he was, and they do grow fast i had a redtail for a whille that went from 1" - 8 inch in 2 months i was amazed by the growth rate, what size tank will he be going in when bigger ?

gotta love cats lol, well after the 50 hes going in my 115 for a while. then i have the choice of either adding him to my koi pond which was my initial plan or move him to a new pond which my parents have agreed to build. will probably go for the second option.

winters not a problem since i live in a tropical environment so we're hot all year round, but i am going to find some means keeping my temperature constant since it drops a little during the monsoon seasons.

by the way any idea how long he can live in my 115? its two feet wide and 4 foot long.

i was hoping to start the new pond in june when im done with my exams but i have no problems with having him in my current pond until.

hehe not planning on mistreating my polo as you see :P

Well at least you have some sort of plan for him, and i couldent really say it depends on his growth, ive found out that if you power feed them witch i dont suggest, he could be 2 foot in 8 months or less but if you feed him every 2 days he wont grow stupidly fast and i personally think its healthy for the fish and makes them more active aswell, then he could have about 18 months in the tank. but thats my look on the growth , all depends on the feeding that u do.

wow lol, anyway i only need around 3-4 months not that long lol. my second pond will be only for him anyway, also going to try and get 2 rtcs 2 more hybrids and maybe 2 tsns, i know its alot but i am making that pond huge.

apart from the cats i'll have tilapia, guppies, blue (unknown) african cichlids and cons.
they will be put before the cats ofcourse as some sort of extra food lol
