rubber plastic to cover acrylic?

think i can use the rubber plastic to wrap my tank front and sides without having air bubble? will this material scratch the tank? is there any other material i could use to prevent deep scratches

also is there a way of fixing deep scratches without removing material from tank? such as sanding /buffing...cant u just get some sort of acrylic liquid material and paste it on/buff ? Lol... thanks.

you can use whatever you want.. only issue is that prettymuch everything is "less than clear" so it craps up the tank
