I need to replace a line underneath my tank that comes off of a 2" bulkhead. I really don't want to drain the entire tank.

Anybody know where I can find a rubber plug of some sort to plug this hole?

I believe it would have to be 2 3/8" diameter, same as the o.d. of the 2" pvc.

I've searched google for awhile and nothin'. I could be using the wrong search words though.

Yeah, places like Worm's Way, that carry beer/wine making supplies carry stuff like that.

Aquatic Ecosystems has stuff like that too if you don't mind ordering online.

Otherwise, looking in the plumbing sections of a decent hardware store might having somehting usable. I have seen the expansion type plugs down to that small in places like Lowes before.

Hobby stores might have them too as well as lab supply places or some restaurant supply places.

Thanks! I'll do some more searching. I was at Lowes today and the "test plugs" they carry in the plumbing dept are for the inside of PVC. I couldn't find one that matched the od.

I checked my Aquatic Ecosystems catalog and it appears they have the same as lowes.

I'll check out that rubber stopper place.

I had to order 3 to hit the $10.00 minimum. O well. Beats wasting gas driving all over Omaha again.

Thanks again guy!!!!
