Hello guys i am designing a multi level ball python setup up. It will be three layer each enclosure being roughly the size of 40 gallon breeder made out of ply wood with opening door fronts and slate bottoms. I found a product in the diy section before that i was going to use to rubberize the inside but it got lost out of my favorites. The product was used for porches, water towers, and all kinds of other things any suggestion on products or website to check out would be great. The way that i am going to do it is have the bottoms open except a small rim and rubberize the hole insides and silicone in a peice of slate for the bottom. So has to be a product that silicone will adhere to fix the slate and be able to stand the temperature of the heat pad being attached to the slate with out seperating. Im not going to get into the design of the tanks to much just looking to find the rubberized product i found before of something else that will work for me thanks.

http://www.bestmaterials.com/detail.aspx?ID=18887 So this is the product i was thinking of before only comes in a huge amount cost to much and is not going to work for me. Any suggestions guys? doe not need to be a rubber coating just what i was goin to use before. it does not need to be fiber glass reinforced or any thing like that is going to hold water or have any inside pressure pushing out words simply want a product that is going to cure the inside and make it safe from the humidity of the cage, and the heat, moisture ect. and be able to adhere to silicone use on the seems just for safe keeping. Just did some research and realizied that that silicone doesnt adhere to slate any idea on how to place the slate in and seal it after to make it air, moisture, and water tight allso. even thow im not putting water in the tank still need and want it to have a water tight seal. Any insight would be greatly appreciated guys and thanks you

loosing my faith is u guys i know there are some serious diy guys on this site. i know its not fish related but that just should make the answer easier for u guys my freinds

I've used that rubber can stuff on the base of my basketball hoop to seal a hole so the water would stop leaking... didn't work. Not water proof at all imo not to sure on keeping in humidity. Also In ball python tanks whats the temp have to to be? I wouldn't trust this stuff in hot weather I remember this stuff would only be hard at night n liquidy in the day and don't get me started on that smell. Try tiles for the bottom?
