My plans for a 30 blind cave fish tank and a 75 asian river tank were just ruined on 2 big accounts:
#1 My parents changed their mind about allowing the 75 gallon tank
#2 My overly aggressive cave tetras killed my larger danios I was growing out for the 75
th tetras would wait until the light is out then they'd do hit and runs on the danios sides, scraping them up until they died. then once I removed the body they'd select a new victim to harass within days. i only caught them as they killed my final danio, who was an inch longer then the tetras.
I'm going to a backup plan with the tetras in a 10 and something else in the 30, probably a smaller scale to what I was planning before
Has anyone had super aggressive cave tetras before? and will 5 of them work in a 10 gallon tank or a similar sized tank?
